If You Are Throwing Away All These Excited Newbies, You Are Making A Huge Mistake.

The Haskell motto is "avoid success at all cost". They do it for technical reasons - the need for experimentation. You do it for ideological reasons indepentent from that of free software ideology.

I will repeat my plea from an older post:

Free software is for everyone, including your enemies, including my enemies.

Let us all put our swords and cloaks and daggers at the entrance to the free software development halls. Mailing lists, bug trackers, forges, forums, chat rooms. Cooperate with all, ALL, for free software, with its four freedoms at its heart, is true beneficial reciprocity, where you help your enemies and your enemies help you - the golden and silver rules made flesh.

That is about that.
